You can already dual weild the assassin daggers.

But if you are talking about 2 swords???
Imagine the fact that you modify both weapons with enchanting mods.
enchants last 40% longer. same issue with the dual grip modded axe.
I think it would be cool to dual weild swords.
I infact want to dual weild scimitars on my ranger.
But i do not believe they will let that happen.

Any class can use any weapon.

Grab a set of daggers and go at it.. just don't poke an eye out.

lol tawk amongt yaselves?

I don't think it's necessary. What would happen to cyclone axe and some of the elites? Double gash or double sever atery? I think the warrior is fine the way it is really. Having a minus to armor penalty might be good, so that we don't have a ton of dual wielding solo warriors. A dual wielding assassin would make sense.

It wont be like in D2 and other games where you needed two different weapons to dual wield (if they had it). It would probably be like the assassins daggers, where there upgrade applies to them both. Its pretty obvious that they wouldn't let you use two different swords since the assassins did not need two different daggers to dual wield. I was just thinking of this myself, if they did add it into factions might give me a reason to start putting more interest into sword.

They could but I don’t see them spend time in remaking new skills, like said most warriors’ skills would not work. For me its fine the way it is. I am sure they will come out with someone else to dual wield.

people who complain about a lack of dual wielding are in general a particular type of roleplayer, categorized under the name "drizzt fanboys"... doesn't matter if you don't actually like drizzt, that's the category you get filed under, because it's all the same thing. "what's better than a sword? TWO SWORDS!!!"

nevermind that we're not trying to re-implement "the book of five rings" here, or that there are obvious large potential opportunities for abuse and brokenness...

just leave it the way it is. you don't need it.
see also: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"...

...damned drizzt fanboys.

Drizzt is a dark elf, a drow from the forgotten realms, created by R.A. Salvatore.

Ya, stand in Ascalon and hold down Ctrl and see how many variations of Drizzt Do'Urden you can count!

Wonderful character, wonderful series of books.

Only way I could imagine any form of dual wielding coming along would be if they made short swordish type daggers.
